I really appreciated the reactivity from the team by email.
Within a few hours I would always get an answer and some guidance.

On the other hand, the dashboard meant to indicate progress of the process is quite confusing.
At some points I thought I was fully done with the audit and was waiting for Google to come back to me (within 5-6 days per indicative timeline). 
It appeared that the audit was actually not over and that ESOF was still waiting for some inputs.
Nothing on the dashboard made that clear so I lost ~1 week

The automated assessment tool helped us complete the evaluation efficiently, but there is room for improvement.

This was our first ever Google CASA Tier 2 security assessment and everything went smoothly albeit with a slight hiccup of not knowing if we should wait for a response after submitting our SAQ or reach out to the team after SAQ submission. Thankfully, the response time was prompt with relatively wide operating hours.
