Its ability to stimulate millions of concurrent users from multiple geographic locations is impressive and highly beneficial for stress testing. Its smooth integration capabilities with DevOps pipelines streamline continuous performance testing. The live dashboard provides immediate insights during test execution,allowing prompt issue identification.

Preparedness for load testing on an e-commerce platform. Allows the e-commerce retailer to purchase x amount of hours and traffic load before an event (e.g. Black Friday; Christmas shopping) that would see a spike in page visits, shopping transactions and overall hits. The stress testing helps prioritize and scale-up if needed to cater for a seamless customer experience without any delays, lags or downtime which would hamper e-commerce site performance.

1. Scalability. Akamai CloudTest is a cloud based solution, which means it can be easily scale to meet the demand of our requests 2. Real-world testing: It's allows us to simulate real-world traffic scenarios, meaning we can test our applications under actual usage like conditions 3. Integration: it can be easily integrated with other testing tools such as Selenium, Jmeter and Appium 4. We are getting a very rapid results, by creating and running test very quickly.

Sometimes its advanced features can be challenging for the first time user without proper training and documentation. The real-time dashboard lags sometimes when running large scale tests which makes it harder to catch issues right away. The pricing structure can get confusing and expensive as test scale increases, and i wish the report was a bit more customizable to fit specific needs.

Built for purpose so the pricing might not cater to all budgets. Multiple parties need to be engaged from Akamai for the delivery, which, while effective can be difficult to keep track of as the re-seller and wanting to keep all stakeholders in the loop.

The cost is very high, but we accept it as a cost of running good business
