Users can integrate and connect with various modes of data ingestion techniques for versatile use cases. Uses the parallel processing capabilities of a cluster architecture for faster in-memory data processing for faster outputs. Indefinite possibilities of graphical dashboards creation using ML techniques integrated for predictive analysis.
Ease of use and anyone can quickly learn and come up to speed
What I like most is how tightly QuickSight fits into the AWS ecosystem. I don't have to jump through hoops to connect my data sources, and updates flow into dashboards almost instantly. The Q feature is also a standout, being able to ask plain language questions and get insights feels empowering for non-technical teammates. It is the kind of BI tool that grows with your data instead of getting in the way
Platform administration is a bit cumbersome and can lead to an overwhelming experience while using it for the first time. The drag-and-drop interface comes with slacks and lags, but rarely, not often. Some embedded analytics suggestions are irrelevant and can lead to productivity losses.
Limited Visualizations for charts is the biggest issue.
The part that wears me down a bit is the interface, it sometimes feels like things are hidden where you would not expect them. Simple design changes can take longer than they should, especially when you are trying to polish a dashboard. I have also noticed that new users struggle if they are not already familiar with AWS concepts. It is capable, but some usability refinements would make a huge difference
