This reduction in manual effort has resulted in significantly lower costs to the organization. Risk Mitigation and Enhanced Controls - The implementation and continued growth of the platform has strengthened our controls within the supplier life cycle, reduced risks for fraud and closer alignment with the Security and Compliance organization. Innovation - apex continues to drive AI through their investments in advanced analytics, automation and emerging tech that has allowed the organization to leverage automated decision making, improve supplier record accuracy and drive efficiencies for our customers. Outstanding Support - apex has continued to function as a partner rather than a vendor. They continuously function as a trusted advisor with the vast industry knowledge they've developed while also being willing to support specific needs of the organization.
Risk reduction is the standout item. The real-time validations in the portal, especially taxid and banking are second to none. On top of that, the flexibility within the configurations allows us to add other 3rd party validations to add extra layers of validations. They helped us with some custom workflows to add different approval levels based on supplier types and departments requesting changes. We are able to tailor the portal to support our use cases.
1. Apex has provided a tool that is configurable by us internally. Not all enhancements require the Apex team's support. The configurability allows us to tailor the tool to our requirements. It is flexible and easy. 2. Partnership with the Apex team - This partnership and Apex's responsiveness to questions lends to a solid experience. 3. We have saved time and reallocated resources to other initiatives while obtaining better, more complete and accurate data than ever. 4. Out of the box, pre-built API's make data validation easy, quick and less expensive. 5. Continuous improvement leveraging current market trends whether it is AI or cyber threat avoidance.
Personalization - Understanding of the need to have a robust, standardized platform for performance, there are opportunities to drive personalized options within that framework. Continued Automation Opportunities - Significant automation exists today, the potential to increase automation through agentic task completion within the AI chatbot is a future opportunity. Continued UX Improvement - Though most functionality is simple, there can be a small learning curve when implementing advancing functionality and features.
As we come across items we would like to change or improve, Apex is always available and willing to help us make informed decisions on how to change based on best practices and their recommendations. I struggle to list 3 things I dislike, but some items I would like to see improved are 1. AI Chatbot being able to access items within the suppliers instance of the portal to answer specific questions around specific invoices. 2. Would like to see more options for automating the supplier set up. Perhaps supplier uploading a W9 or invoice copy and having portal fill in some required fields based on that, or portal bringing in existing data from other clients after supplier enters taxid so that supplier is doing more validating than entering. 3. I would like to see more canned report options, or an easier way to build custom reports without the need for using Odata.
1. Although the interface is robust, a few more customizations may be beneficial. 2. Useful reporting comes as part of the out of the box solution, but clients creating and adding additional reporting functionality without leveraging OData would be helpful.
