1. I like the fact that the team is geographically spread. This can be uniquely used, as in our case- we are using them for testing languages on our mobile applications as well as desktop applications. This helps us remove dependency of finding resources for specific language. 2. Their rates are lower than some of the. industry leading service providers. This can be a cost saving experience for smaller companies who require expertise at a lower cost. 3. They have a database of different devices held by their staff. This is very useful as it removes device based dependency for QA testing. 4. The team is strong & have expertise. They are diversified making it a competitive environment.
Very attentive and reactive, easy to work with, accommodating
The feature that I most appreciated is certainly the ability to adapt to our most varied needs by modifying the execution of the service in a very short time.
1. Being geographically spread means that we will be less confident to share sensitive data & information related to our customers. It does not give us the confidence to work with them on all fronts. 2. Training resources will be a difficult task as they are all spread out. Hence they will not be interacting with each other as much or learn from each other as much. This makes management slightly difficult. With our current vendors we use otherwise, we just have to instruct them to get help from the other tester who is working in the same team. They will just walk by and get help from them, Although this can be sorted out in their model of working, the confidence level is slightly less. 3. Integration with our organization infrastructure to access data cannot be given to them based on our current vendor guidelines. Since they are spread out & we dont have any control over data, our guidelines dont allow us to work with them on all projects. Only projects that dont share specific data can be shared with them.
Test leads do not understand product enough to transfer knowledge to testers and therefore, generate insightful findings/bugs
One aspect that can be improved is the possibility of recruiting functional experts in the relevant sector
