Performance of Archer Across Market Features
Archer Likes & Dislikes
Flexibility. Ability to configure ourselves. Customer service.
It has stood the test of time overall, and in general can be customised to fulfill various use cases - albeit in a relatively basic, workflow-driven way
I really like that Archer is the standard when it comes to GRC tools. It's been around a long time that most mature programs do leverage it to further their journey.
Some features are underdeveloped. User experience is a little outdated.
It is generally clunky to use for the end user, and clunky for those administering it. Overall, it has a dated look and feel and it is difficult to call it a true competitor to other eGRC platforms or similar
The growing pain for Archer has always been the user experience. It's good that it's flexible but users complain that it's clunky and hard to navigate.

Strong Choice for Risk Management
Archer is a flexible and highly configurable risk management platform that allows organizations to tailor solutions to their needs. We have optimized this by building several use cases for non-traditional purposes, taking advantage of Archer's strong workflow and notification capability and applications for areas typically outside of Archer's suite of products. In our experience, Archer's customer service team is responsive and knowledgeable. Archer offers a premium success program which enables relationship building with your representative. This has proven invaluable in helping us solution several pain points. Archer does have a few limitations. New functionalities, often available due to acquisitions of other companies, can be rolled out too quickly, leaving some features underdeveloped or incomplete. Also, its user interface can feel outdated though their team is actively working on improvements utilizing customer input. Modernization of the platform is on the horizon which we eagerly anticipate. Overall, Archer is a strong choice for risk management with some caution for new features and an evolving user experience. - VP, Product1B-10B USDBankingReview Source
Archer GRC: A Flexible Approach to Complex Processes
We're happy with Archer as our enterprise GRC tool. It's the leading tool in this space and has plenty of flexibility to accommodate the most complex processes. The area of improvement we would like to see more from Archer is the more flexibility in reporting and dashboards. Our team connects data from Archer to other reporting mature tools like PowerBI. - ASSISTANT MANAGER, OPERATIONS50M-1B USDTransportationReview Source
Archer's Integrated Approach to Risk Management: A Comprehensive Insight
Archer provides a strong basis for an integrated approach to risk management but the absence of readily accessible reporting tools is a significant limitation in terms of communicating risk information. If we have more flexible reporting then we will be able to share risk insights more effectively. - Consultant10B+ USDIT ServicesReview Source
Archer's eGRC Platform: Lingering in the Past or Still Relevant?
Archer has a somewhat dated user experience, I feel that users demand more of eGRC platforms in the modern era from the perspective of how it can be used, and how it looks and feels. - Associate Account Manager50M-1B USDMiscellaneousReview Source
Archer has the potential within.
Archer is working as per our expectations. It provides flexibility in our business spectrum. Further, integrations with third-partyshould be made more intuitive. This will help in making the product more capable.
