Overall, our experience with Atlan has been very positive and has exceeded our expectations in a Data Catalogue. We followed a formal evaluation and proof of value process, where Atlan performed strongly, and the ease of integration meant we saw value within 1 month. The platform has been successfully fully implemented at scale and is embedded in our wider data platform. We have valued working very closely with Atlan's product team and we have found feedback is actioned very quickly, Atlan are highly engaged post sale with regular roadmap updates and the ability to join private previews incredibly quickly and easily. Areas that Atlan are slightly weaker on is around privacy governance, which would really help cement Atlan for other data governance teams if this was addressed.

Atlan is a decent data governance platform that helps in organising and managing data across multiple systems. It offers useful features like data catalogue, collaboration tool and integration with BI platforms. However, it has a learning curve and some aspect like set up complexity and thinking delays which could be improved.
