“Frequent Bugs and Aggressive Sales Calls Detract From Promising Accessibility Features”

3.0
Dec 23, 2025
The customer support answers promptly, and my experience is that they are eager to develop the product based on user needs. However, the pricing and licensing are generally confusing as most of the functionalities are priced separately. The product also has quite a lot of bugs, especially for the functionalities that are in the beta phase, and the documentation is not comprehensive which makes the use beyond basic cases challenging.

Frequent Device Switching and Comprehensive Test Coverage Noted With Some Slowdowns

    5.0
    Dec 9, 2025
Overall my experience with Browserstack has been pretty good. I use it almost daily for my QA tasks. Its easy to jump between devices and browsers, and most of the time it works smooth. There are moments where the performance gets a bit slow or the device takes longer to load, which can be frustrating when Im in a hurry. But still, its one of the more reliable tools Ive used for cross-browser testing, and it really helps me cover lots of scenarios without needing real devices around.

Low-Code Automation Boosts Testing Contribution But Recorder Falls Short On Complexity

    5.0
    Feb 10, 2026
BrowserStack has evolved from just a device farm into a full AI augmented quality platform. We heavily use the app to automate products for our mobile test automation scripts, but the real game changer recently has been the test observability dashboard. It uses AI to automatically classify test failures as environment issues, flaky, or product bugs, which saves my team hours of manual log analysis. The new low-code automation features are also great fro our manual testers to contribute to the regression suite without needing to learn coding.

A highly reliable and extensive device cloud, but keep an eye on concurrency costs.

My overall experience with BrowserStack has been highly positive. It drastically reduced the time and overhead we used to spend maintaining our own internal device lab. Running automated cross-browser tests and testing on real mobile devices is largely seamless. The main reason for my high rating is the sheer breadth of their device coverage. However, we occasionally run into network latency issues when testing timeouts in our automated pipelines.

Performance of BrowserStack Across Market Features

BrowserStack Likes & Dislikes

Like

As we are moving most of the applications to cloud based platform its being evident that the applications are tested in real environment as end users using a variety of browsers available. Performing automated testing across different environments has been a challenge that has long been seen across the QE space.BrowserStack tool logic of having testing executed without the actual overhead of the infrastructure provides an efficient way to execute the test cases and review of results as a snapshot solves the problems in greater depths. Since BrowserStack provides capabilities to integrate with the devOps pipelines, life is easier in scheduling the test executions and nightly run saving manual efforts of triggering the regression suites.

Like

Some really nice features and functionalities combined in one platform, like promising accessibility testing with mobile apps which has been challenging without this kind of tool.

Like

What I like most about Browserstack is honestly the huge range of devices and browsers I can test on. It saves me so much time not having to setup emulators or keep physical devices around. The UI is simple to navigate and switching between environments is really quick (most of the time). I also like that everything is in one place, so I can do screenshots, network logs, responsive checks etc. without jumping to other tools. It just makes cross-browser testing way easier for my daily work.

Dislike

Feature wise, the tool provides a great deal of flexibility in execution of test conditions and edge cases, one place where it lags is in performance. The product intermittently exhibits degradation in user experience when being executed in a multi threaded environment. Hence requiring scaling up of the user infrastructure.

Dislike

Documentation is not clear or comprehensive enough, the pricing and licensing approach is frustrating from the user perspective as every new feature must be negotiated/bought separately, features in beta phase have quite a lot of bugs so testing in general should be improved. Sales is on the aggressive side and starts to feel quite frustrating when different people contact you over and over again.

Dislike

What i dislike the most is the random slowdowns that happen sometimes. A device will take too long to start or the session kinda freezes for a bit, which breaks my testing flow.
