We've been using Insomnia for some time now to test, debug, and document REST APIs, and the experience has been very positive. The interface is clean and easy to understand, and it has helped us simplify endpoint testing, manage environments, and collaborate across development teams.

In our team, we use postman as the go-to tool for API validation and testing for all our Oracle Integration Cloud(OIC) work. As an oracle technical developer i need to know exactly how a Fusion REST endpoint will behave in real-time so for this i user Postman extensively. Postman handles the protocol support for our SOAP and REST calls perfectly. Its CI Integration capabilities via the Newman have helped u move towards a more automated reporting and testing cycle.

Over the years I've checked in a lot of enterprise automation sofware, so I really know the pain of these closed systems. Due to Karate's simplistic and simple DSL, I found that it is crazy good to plug any AI bot into your process, completely shifting from simple automation to AI agentic execution/live repair of your test with the power of any AI bot, which makes it future proof for any new AI endeavours. And as a final - everything Karate is an on-premise (with deployments on own cloud where needed), making it the most secure enterprise simple and logical choice.
