CH Robinson/TMC does a great job of managing our freight. They have helped us organize bid events and ran the events based on our own parameters. They offer online services as well as a support team to assist in scheduling and managing of carriers.

Freight handling is excellent, they reduce the amount of time needed to schedule and coordinate pickups. Their website is constantly evolving and offering new tools for data analytics and understanding shipment metrics. We have a regular meeting with our account rep and service team to help resolve any open issues or concerns that we may have. We do not need a technical background to approach them with the issues we are having. They will take our requests and work on them internally to deliver the end result.

-Large array of offerings regarding logistics and logistics management -Quick turnaround on pricing proposals and RFPs -Leveraged pricing vs. Market Rates

The customer service is very good. Our representative is very helpful.

There website and data offering is so vast, that sometimes it is difficult to find a specific shipment without reaching out to them directly. 4PL services are supposed to be completely separate from their traditional freight offerings, but sometimes there is some overlap. When disputes or issues do occur, it can be difficult to get them to take responsibility for additional charges that result from their service failures.

-Large Business detracts from their ability to focus on smaller clients within their book of business -Customized solutions are typically not within their capabilities. One size fits all seems to be somewhat of their approach -Intermodal Options seem to be limited based on my experience. Either they haven't presented these options, or they are not a major player in this space.
