Deciding Factors: Cisco ACI Vs. Market Average
Performance of Cisco ACI Across Market Features

Cisco ACI Likes & Dislikes

Like

1) The ability to push site wide configurations with minimal effort 2) The ability to get telemetry data across the fabric from a single pane of glass 3) The built in ability to apply segmentation to large groups of devices automatically and make sure that carries through the fabric no matter where the endpoints exist

Like

Ability to troubleshooting packet flow thoughout fabric, expan subnets though multiple DCs without headache about L2 broadcast

Like

I like how it centralizes network management and makes automation much easier, so daily operations become more efficient

Dislike

1) Initial learning curve was steep 2) Fabric was eventually redesigned as we did not have enough knowledge for initial configuration 3) Large amount of work during redesign process

Dislike

Very complex to configure a simple task. Experience about instability with L2 bugs (misconfiguration by Advance Services cause subnets flapping but TAC could not resolve it for 3 weeks)

Dislike

the initial setup and learning curve can be quite challenging, especially if you're new to the ACI concepts
