Performance of Cisco ACI Across Market Features
Cisco ACI Likes & Dislikes
1.Policy driven automation - simplifies network configuration and reduces manual errors. 2.Centralized management- The APIC controller provides unified visibility and control across the entire network. 3.Scalability - Supports growth from small deployments to large enterprise data centers.
Ability to troubleshooting packet flow thoughout fabric, expan subnets though multiple DCs without headache about L2 broadcast
Great management pane and clearly defined physical architecture. Also, a lot of automation options and very robust and reliable.
1.Steep learning curve - understanding the policy-driven model can be challenging for new teams. 2.complex troubleshooting - advanced issues often require deep expertise or vendor support to resolve. 3.Integration challenges - While strong overall, certain third party apps may require extra effort to integrate.
Very complex to configure a simple task. Experience about instability with L2 bugs (misconfiguration by Advance Services cause subnets flapping but TAC could not resolve it for 3 weeks)
Logical architecture and design complexity. Software bugs and limitations are still causing issues. Also there are several limitations to the integration with Dashboard Orchestrator, which makes changes slightly more complicated.

Cisco ACI Enhances Visibility Yet Demands Expertise for Troubleshooting Complexities
My experience with CISCO ACI has been positive overall. It provides a powerful, policy-driven approach to data center networking that makes operations simple and enhances scalability. The centralized management model makes it easier to enforce consistent policies across the environment while also improving visibility and control. - IT ASSOCIATE10B+ USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
Automation and Reliability Noted Despite Software Bugs and Design Complexity in ACI
ACI has been working great for us and made our DC operations and management simpler and more efficient. However there is a high level of complexity on the configuration which could be simpler and more user-friendly - IT ASSOCIATE10B+ USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
Physical Architecture Clarity Noted Amid Concerns Over Cisco ACI Logical Design Complexity
Cisco ACI is working great for us , and has made our DC management and operations simpler. However the ACI architecture and solution itself could be more simple and more user-friendly in some respect. Also, Dashboard orchestrator that we use it with, is not fully integrated. - NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER10B+ USDInsurance (except health)Review Source
Cisco ACI Enables Application Segmentation But Can Have Its Initial Challenges Without Proper Design/Planning
Overall, we have had a positive journey with Cisco ACI for application segmentation. - IT MANAGER1B-10B USDBankingReview Source
Cisco ACI Offers Scalable Micro Segmentation With Strong Policy Enforcement Features
CISCO ACI gives robust, scalable and policy driven approach to Micro segmentation. Its basicaly good for large enterprises or data center environments that are already using CISCO. Integration part is strong with CISCO and Vemware . Coast part is bit on higher side
