Cloudflare, is a provider of WAAP, SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, CDN, and Edge Developer services. Cloudflare empowers organizations to make their employees, applications and networks faster and more secure everywhere, while reducing complexity and cost. Cloudflare delivers all services from a single intelligent global network platform, providing customers with a unified platform of cloud-native products and developer tools, so any organization can gain the control they need to work, develop, and accelerate their business.

What I like most is Cloudflare's massive global network means content and services are delivered from locations close to users. So its lower latency, faster load times and better reliability.
I like the flexibility to deploy code at the edge and how quickly updates go live.
Ultra-fast Edge Performance Responses are delivered close to the user, which has dramatically improved API latency in regions like APAC and South America without needing to manage regional infrastructure. Seamless Integration with Cloudflare Ecosystem Native support for KV storage, Durable Objects, and R2 object storage makes it easy to build distributed systems with global consistency or localized caching. Developer tooling & Deployment The wrangler clI is intuitive and fast. CI/CD integration was straightforward, and preview environments are a great bonus for testing before pushing to production.
What I dislike most is that everything runs at the edge, which traditioanlly debugs methods that dont always apply. Like limited local parity with production, logs and traces can fell less straight forward and harder to replicate edge specific issues. Then it also has this platform lock in which makes migrating of things complex in the end. And then also the memory limits can feel restrictive at times.
It takes some time for adaptation for beginners.
Limited Debugging capabilities Real-time debugging is not as easy as in traditional environments. You often rely on console.log and wait for logs to propagate, which slows down development. Memory & CPU constraints workers are limited in terms of compute and memory, which can be a blocker for more complex tasks. Cloudflare-specific APIs = Vendor Lock-in The deeper you go into their storage (KV, Durable Objects), the harder it is to migrate or create parity in another platform without substantial rewrites.
