I liked the ability to simplify Kubernetes management at scale. It offers strong automation with integrated observability. It also offers modern flexibility across multi-cloud environments, making it an easy choice for organizations embracing cloud-native strategies.
The service is focused on cloud native workload and there metrics/traces and has a very clear and intuitive UI. It also provides some built-in dashboards to get started quickly
The fact that it's built to work natively in the VMware environment is key to Tanzu.
Integrating with existing CI/CD pipelines can be complex and time-consuming, especially for non-engineers. requires a dedicated training to fully leverage advanced features like Tanzu Mission Control and Application Services.
- quite costly - not open source - no wide adoption
The install and upgrade process is pretty complicated and took some support from Broadcom to complete.
