The implemented technology brings the finance & procurement organization on the next level in every single way. Thinking along by Cognizant when changes are happening and adaptability of that change is helping us a lot. If talking about finding solutions for sometimes complex issues Cognizant is really acting as a partner not as an contractor.

On an a few occasions there was confusion on certain requirements.

They could have identified the consequences and risks of changing decisions earlier in the project which may have helped us realized impacts of the changes sooner. In an effort to be flexible they did not hold us accountable for a strict timeline. Initially junior resources were brought on to the project which caused a lack of confidence and delays until these resources were replaced.

After many implementations in many countries we are, together with the implementation partner, still a bit risk averse by getting through the full implementation approach for small implementations as well. It will help us if we get sometimes a bit more critical feedback on how we are doing or approaching the roll-out. It will probably help if the implementation partner add a bit more diversity (cultures, genders, etc.) in their combined implementation teams. For the product itself we would like to follow the standards as much as possible, however sometimes it's underdeveloped (e.g. a scanning solution). For such priority tools or processes, we expect a clear out of the box solution which directly can be replace the standard.
