DCE allow real time monitoring, cooling and enviromental condition. Alerting and reporting for potential issues. Trend capacity and analysis.
Very expensive, and somewhat difficult to implement
It is extremely tough to get someone on the phone from APC for troubleshooting.
While the current reporting features are valuable, I belive that adding even more customization option and advanced analytics would futher enhance the platform's capabilities
