Their strategic planning and roapmapping is great. However implementation support and functionality enhancements do not go as smooth as we anticipated. Also we had to do ALOT of pre-work - more than we originally anticipated thus it was more resource intensive to implement. It is a good tool and has great potential but at this point we are not seeing the ROI that we projected to see. They also started a customer information exchange portal that in theory would be an excellent benefit to their customers, however they never matured it.

Integrations of power and systems monitoring tools is critical during outage troubleshooting. Accurate representation of the datacenters/cabinets allows for proper planning. Rack capacity toolsets for power and cooling based on actual HW.

The thing I like most is the ability to integrate so many things. The suite of software provided by Nlyte does a great job and we are always learning more.

The Bulk Data Management tool should be better integrated with the tool. Power configurations should be better integrated with the tool. Reconfiguring a room (adding space or changing its shape) should be easier to accomplish.

The reporting functionality is lacking.

The product is still growing. There are still some things that are not easy to figure out and sometimes require a support ticket to learn how to do certain things. The manuals leave quite a bit to be desired as they don't fully show how to do things. The organization of the manuals takes a bit of time to figure out. For example, one piece of software has multiple manuals for different menus within the software. One manual with chapters for each application would suffice and help with organization a bit more.

This is the first asset management tool we deployed for our DC and remote offices. It has not only helped with asset management but with alarm configuration for PDUs and temperature monitor using SNMP. This has enabled a single management interface for reliable and easy asset management for the team.

Solution provided complete asset management and API plugins for integration to other DCIM tools. As per our request and feedback the vendor was also able to make changes quickly unlike other companies. Support issues are dealt with quickly and suggestions for enhancements accepted and when possible implemented by the vendor quickly. I like the fact that we can speak to the CTO and CEO from Nlyte when we have concerns. They are very open to finding solutions.
