1. The user-friendly inventory report and analysis dashboard aided our stock control processes by providing clear and up-to-date information. 2. The automated inventory auditing feature was very helpful in significantly enhancing our effectiveness and reducing manual workload and any related errors. 3. The overall stock tracking accuracy observed in the platform led to a steep decrease of discrepancies and non-conformances.
I like how programs like Datascan can monitor inventory in specific programs, it can give real time data access, it complies with the policies my company has, it is easy to learn and use, and more.
. Limited customization: sometimes it is restricted when trying to tailor workflows or reporting formats to our unique needs. . It requires support to navigate the software interfaces and to understand the scanning process. . The tool is too much of a black box; it's difficult to know what happens with the data after it's uploaded, until results are returned.
1. The platform's integration capabilities and general compatibility with other applications did not prove to be as intuitive as we initially estimated and additional configuration was required. 2. Many of the application's features lack the necessary customisation options to successfully adapt the platform to specific organisation needs. 3. Significant delays and various inconsistencies regarding customer and technical support responses were reported which had a negative impact on our progress and our ability to meet deadlines.
I don't like how DataScan can become complicated to use where we need to make sure that all inventory is accounted for. I also don't like how there is required training that needs to be done, which can take up employee work hours. Also, I dislike that it may have connection problems at times. However, these issues are not very significant compared to the benefits such as saving the organization a lot of time in the end.
