Lately our organization subscribed to DeCYFER, a preemptive external threat landscape management platform. It's latest version DeCYFIR 4.0, offered our organization a friendly experience in their 9 pillars. This online, web-based platform provided us with a means to gain visibility of our external threat landscape. The tool continuously monitors emerging threats. It utilizes predictive intelligence to proactively take actions, reduce risks, and preempt any impending attack. While the initial onboarding required some familiarization due to the platform's expanse, the overall experience has been smooth and beneficial. DeCYFIR has reduced noise, improved our visibility, and enabled us to make faster, more informed decisions across our security operations.

It provides us with full coverage by combining data from multiple sources. This helped us get a consolidated view of our potential threats, ensuring nothing is overlooked. 3. Its advanced filtering and analytics helped us receive only the necessary alerts, helping our teams to focus on critical and high severity threats 4. Its dynamic vulnerability assessment goes beyond traditional CVE scores. The tool incorporates real-time intelligence and understands adversary behavior. This helped us identify not just critical and high severity vulnerabilities but also medium and low severity ones that were being exploited. 5. Its personalized risk prioritization helped us get relevant threat data. The insights are tailored in accordance with our organization's needs and risks. 6. Its enriched context helped us in understanding the intentions, capabilities and targets of are potential attackers. Overall it has given us a more informed and proactive defense capability.

Frequent and timely report.

The most valuable features for our SOC team are the takedown service, sandbox capability, and the alert center. These features help us monitor potential threats, analyze suspicious files or URLs, and respond more effectively to external cyber risks targeting the organization.

Since the CSV files are spread across multiple locations within the module, having a centralized directory for downloading them would make things easier for us.

Unuseful UI on web dashboard. The dashboard is very slow.

Some features could be improved, particularly in terms of deeper integrations with other security tools and more advanced customization options. Enhancing these areas would help security teams maximize the platform's overall value

Cyfirma has been helpful in monitoring external threats and identifying potential cyber risks targeting our organization. The platform provides useful threat intelligence visibility, especially through the alert center, sandbox feature and takedown service, which supports our SOC team in monitoring and responding to suspicious activities. However, the data breach information could be improved, as some details are sometimes more comprehensive on other threat intelligence platforms. Expanding it would make the platform even more valuable. Overall, Cyfirma is a useful solution for organizations looking to improve external threat monitoring and strengthen their security posture.

Adopting DeCYFIR has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for our security program. Before DeCYFIR, we were trapped in the classic reactive cycle: waiting for alerts, scrambling during incidents, and patching systems only after something had already gone wrong. It was exhausting, costly, and honestly dangerous in today’s threat landscape. DeCYFIR completely flipped that script. From day one, it gave us continuous, outside-in visibility into our entire digital footprint every internet-facing asset, forgotten subdomain, exposed service, and cloud misconfiguration that attackers see but we previously couldn’t.

Overall, our experience with DeCYFIR has been positive and useful for improving our external threat visibility. We mainly use it to monitor exposed assets and track any potential leaks or risk associated with our organization. One thing that stands out is how it consolidates different types of intelligence into one place, which makes the process more efficient compared to using multiple tools. It has helped is become more proactive rather than reactive. However, in the initial phase, it took some time to understand all the features and properly tune the alerts to match our needs and there is a bit of a learning curve in the beginning due to the amount of data and features available. Overall, it has added good value to our security monitoring efforts.
