I have been using DevExpress in my .Net projects. I like the UI controls of DevExpress which is very clean, professional looking, consistent and responsive. The report designer is the best thing I like in devexpress over other tools. I can create complex type of reports including export functionality in PDF, Excel, etc and supports drill down also.

Report designer and clean, consistent, and responsive UI control in this product are the most important thing for me.

I don't really like the product, but sometimes, I use it because it does have a lot of controls. Their service and support are good enough.

1) User Friendly Graphical User Interface 2) Expansive options of developer tools 3) Easy to manage access among team members 4) Visual studio code rush is truly innovative 5) Testing tools help foreshadow potential bugs more efficiently.

Some of the little bit difficulty that I am facing while using DevExpress are, quite difficult to debug if encountered any bugs or errors, sometimes its grid is taking a long time to load for thousands of rows of data.

1. Integration is not easy 2. The product seems to be over engineered 3. big footprint

There are none. I do hope for greater enhancements in the future as the product has the potential to innovate to much greater levels.

DevExpress is tightly integrated with our Vue.js web development framework. For a typical .NET stack, DevExpress provides the easy configuration and accessibility requirements that we must comply with. For a public sector client operating across England, this is essential and comes as a much more evident requirement than projects focusing solely on private sector clients. For this reason alone I would recommend DevExpress for public-facing client projects that require support of a large number of users, and less so for private-sector organisations where more configurable frameworks may integrate closer with the requirements of typically bespoke solutions with a demand for high configurability.
