DVX System

The DVX system architecture is far ahead of the game. The overall experience with this system has been a game changer and will forever change the way I look at virtualization.

The whole process of procuring, installing and configuring the platform was straightforward and due in no small part to the excellent and personal customer service we received. That support has continued since the installation and I do feel there is a genuine relationship where Datrium are keen to ensure our success. The platform itself is highly performant, is simple to manage and delivers all of the core functionality around compute, backup protection and offsite replication in one. We are leveraging the platform more and more in the coming weeks and months and expect it to remain a "hands off" tool with minimal if any direct interaction on the management platform, with most tasks being carried out via the vCentre plugin. Very happy with the purchase and we look forward to leveraging the power of the platform going forward.

Having used a Reduxio HX350 which had embedded Ransomware protection, we went out look for a SAN or Stroage solution that would give the school similar technology that is integrated to the hypervisor in such a way that the overhead for the protection was minimal in terms of storage used, speed and how seamless integration. Having looked at Nimble and Dell storage products for such a solution we drew a blank. Then one of our suppliers introduced us to the Datrium DVX. From the Demo to the final rollout I was convinced the product ticked all the boxes for us. And it does as we are now in our third week of post conversion (from Reduxio) operations. The performance of the solution is as stated, It's reliable, painless to implement and operationally smooth. Someone might find this review hard to believe. But Be free to ask me questions. This product does the job for us. We purchased a live node and a replication node and we plan to invest in Control Shift their Orchestration solution. The implementation is seamless and painless and operationally transparent ( meaning you don't have to tend the garden regularly to keep things moving).

Implementation of Datrium into our existing VMware infrastructure was extremely simple and quick. Interactions with the company was very pleasant. Datrium is made up of real experts. Datrium compatibility and performance are amazing.

All process of implementation and configuration was scary easy.. Not a bad thing. But be able to do big things for just a few steps is incredible. And works. I definitely recommend. I still learning but every time I have a good surprise.
