I like Edsby because of it's intuitive web interface and the ability it gives our teachers to correspond with parents generally. Parents appreciate an app that they can remain logged into for fast information about their student's work and progress.
Having students Marks. Classes and Attendance all in one app
I like that it's so user friendly. When I first started my job, I was introduced to Edsby and I had no problem picking up how to get around in the system. I can easily find students and get the data that I need. I have never had any problems with Edsby or needed to contact support for anything.
Some items are not available for all grades such as rubrics using a number scale and other pieces of the software haven't been implemented as far as I would like them to be. Notification options for parents would benefit from being a bit more granular in options.
Help is often slow and you can't customize to your needs
I need access to data for every school in our district. In order to achieve this, our application analyst had to add me as a member of staff to every school. I wish there was an easier way to be able to see all of the schools at once because it makes my front page look pretty cluttered.

Edsby is an amazing product!!
We have been a valued Edsby customer for approximately the last 10 years. The support team is bar none and always at the top of their game. We have gone through multiple student information systems while using Edsby and have been able to integrate flawlessly with each of them. Administrators love the data aspects of what Edsby offers. Teachers love the gradebook and communication functionality. Parents love the ability to keep a close eye on their children. And students love interacting with their teachers and seeing marks in real time. Customization and Accessibility Stand Out Amid Some Software Issues With Edsby
Edsby, as a school information system, has performed well. While we did experience a couple of hiccups with the software, it does provide an easy experience for students, parents, and teachers to use. The support team usually handles our issues very quickly and provides timely updates if a solution needs to be created.
