I have been using erwin Data Intelligence for about 18 months. They have been very helpful with walking us through patch updates, answering questions, dealing with defects, etc. related to general usage of the tool. Overall, that portion has been a very positive experience. We have also been working with the vendor regarding add-on capabilities (i.e., Smart Connectors). Dramatic Usability Boost in Erwin: Introducing Data Marketplace and Discover Assets
erwin Data Intelligence features and usability has improved dramatically within the last 2 years, including the introduction of the Data Marketplace module and the ability to apply multiple sensitivity classifications to a single object within Metadata Manager and Business Glossary objects. The new Discover Assets module is a major improvement over the prior Business User Portal, yet the content available in Discovery Assets to business users is still somewhat limited compared to all the available content available in the main Data Intelligence modules. Overall, erwin Data Intelligence is now a critical part of our Data Governance Program enabling data insights with a high degree of accuracy we would have otherwise not been able to see or have spent a great deal of resources to identify.
