Falcon has been a great tool in our company's ever evolving struggle with security. With such a large company and a wide range of people working here anyone could suffer from a cyber attack. We have peace of mind with Falcon knowing that we have additional help to keep our company and employees safe from bad actors.

Honestly its a good product but maybe a bit overhyped for the price. visibility into active directory is great and easy deployment. Tuning it to stop flagging legit users took longer than the sales guys said it would, solid once its up and running.

Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security Likes & Dislikes

Like

Falcon's identity protection is incredibly diverse, from detecting humans to AI, we have found that there is a high success rate in identifying the people that are using our systems. Many of our employees are using AI agents to help speed up their work flow, but before Falcon we were having concerns about how these agents could be a cause for concern when it comes to security. Working with the Falcon team was helpful as they gave us actionable items that we were able to implement into our systems to allow the agents to work within the security measures we provided. SOC 2 compliance is something we were unfamiliar with before we implemented Falcon and we are grateful that Falcon was able to help us stay compliant. Keeping up to date on system and organization controls is important in the digital age. The Falcon team laid out the steps we needed to take to be compliant and we were up to date within 8 months. The final thing I want to mention is how helpful the Falcon representatives have been. We have had a lot of questions and they have had quick responses, always within a few hours. They have made the implementation process a breeze.

Like

single agent deployment - don't need to install a new server or anything else. just enable it Visibility: seeing exactly what service accounts are doing in real time is somehting we never had before MFA integration: being able to trigger MFA on things that dont support it

Like

1) Identity threat visibility and detection - flags suspicious logins/credential abuse 2) Falcon platform integration - easy correlation with endpoint SOC workflows 3) Behaviour analytics and risk insights - detects abnormal authentication/lateral movements These three features are the main highlights.

Dislike

Falcon does not offer many offline capabilities. Sometimes our office loses internet and we have noticed that when we lose a strong connection it causes issues with Falcon's services. Things are slower and people cannot always access the information they are looking for. We do not want to vulnerable to bad actors if we have connection issues. It is not easy to go alone, but the customer service team has been wonderful in helping us solve any issues we have. Having such a strong knowledge base a few messages away is a blessing. We believe we have gotten the most out of our time with Falcon, but we do want to mention the cost. Make sure your company is able to afford the services before you start implementing them. It is worth it but it is expensive.

Dislike

Cost! Not 100% sure we're getting full value. False positives mean its quite noisy out the box. Trying to export specific data sets from dashboard can be clunky

Dislike

1) Initial setup and tuning takes time to reduce false positives 2) Alert noise can be high initially, require refinement 3) Reporting/dashboard customization is limited to management views These are the three points where the product can improve.

Effective Falcon Integration Enhances SOC Workflow Despite Initial Alert Noise Issues

    4.0

Excellent visibility into identity-based threats, strong integration with the Falcon platform and SOC workflows, helpful analytics for abnormal authentication and lateral movement, and good support for faster investigation and response. Initial tuning and policy optimization can take time, some alerts may require refinement to reduce noise, and reporting/dashboards customization could be improved.

CrowdStrike Falcon Reduces Alert Fatigue and Improves Identity Monitoring Capabilities

    4.0
    Mar 5, 2026
I'll be honest-switching from ESET to CrowdStrike Falcon has been one of the most impactful security decisions we've made at our organization in the last two years. Now, after living with Falcon's Next Gen Identity security for the past five months, I can say without hesitation: this isn't an upgrade. It's a paradigm shift. Before Falcon NGIS, we were drowning in alert fatigue. Our legacy monitoring tools gave us 200+ alerts a day, out of which almost were false positives. We had to manually analyze for suspicious logins from branch offices which was a total chaos and when a real threat did happen, we were unable to identify had their been any lateral movement or not.

Bird’s Eye Dashboard Enables Broad Visibility but Initial Configuration Takes Time

    4.0
    Apr 23, 2026
One of the cool feature of entire Falcon platform is the usage of single lightweight agent that is capable of performing all activities. I have experience of CrowdStrike EDR and Next Gen Identity security was easy for me to understand in terms of UI, and its terminology. Having Next-Gen Identity helps a lot in our organization like identifying identity based threats such as abnormal authentication patterns and possible lateral movement attacks from human and non-human but also AI agents within our environment. Integration with our SIEM solution went well and detailed identity based logs were seen on SIEM that helped much in correlation as well. However, initial setup and alert tuning was quite time consuming.
