Performance and cost issues aside, figma offers one of a kind design functionality. There's nothing else like it on the market and other design systems regularly try to copy figma features because they're rolled out with designers in mind, and they work.
Good integration with other apps, create interactive workflows in the design prototype.
What I like most about Figma is its real-time collaboration, which allows me to comment on wireframes and get immediate feedback from designers and stakeholders. The intuitive interface makes it easy to create and iterate on wireframes quickly. I also appreciate the seamless sharing and version control, which ensures everyone is working from the latest designs.
Performance is a huge issue for figma files, even small ones only displaying a handful of webpage designs. The website has so much tracking embedded into the experience that, if you block tracking via Ublock or similar, the site can often freeze since it keeps trying to make the tracking calls over and over. RAM usage often hits 4-6GB for simple files.

The main issues I've encountered with Figma are: Large files can sometimes slow down performance, some advanced features have a learning curve for new users, and offline access is limited, which can be inconvenient if internet connectivity is poor or unavailable.

While the tools are remarkably powerful, the bloat on the browser is prohibitive and blocking all the tracking information sent from figma websites can freeze figma files and make performance bad enough to be unusable. Figma Eases Wireframe Creation But Struggles With Large Pages and Layered Proposals
Figma is great for wireframe design. It makes it much easier for our teams to mock up ideas and make improvements to our app. It can be a bit laggy/slow to load when viewing large/complex pages. It could also be helpful if there were easier ways to navigate and preview/view mock-ups more easily (complex designs can get lost in layers and be hard to locate). Figma offers easy design review with minimal challenges in onboarding
I have been using Figma to review web and email designs for around 2 years, and have found it to be exceptionally useful. The ability to quickly comment on designs and navigate around them - including seeing which other users are in the document, and even where their cursors are in real time - is especially helpful.
