By combining wireless networking and security under the Fortinet ecosystem, we've been able to streamline support, licensing, and ultimately improve efficiency across the IT Team. My experience with Fortinet has been superb. They are very responsive, provide insights and resources that are assistive to our team and end users. Being able to have knowledge resources available in the higher education industry is detrimental to the success of our information technology department as we operate 19 hours a day. First call resolution is something I haven't encountered with other vendors in the 20 plus years I've been in the technology field, and they've done their best to assist my team with tier 2 and tier 3 issues. Deploying and maintaining a brand-new infrastructure is an arduous task in itself, but everyone, from the service desk to our account manager, has been with us from day one and have become partners in our success.

We have been running FortiAP (221E) for 18 months across 70 sites.The big win is the Fortilink. If you are already a Fortigate client, being able to manage the whole access point from the firewall is super handy. We have already Fortiswitch, wich make experience just a smooth. All rules pushed from one place, complete visibility on the LAN/VLAN, i like very much.
