FortiCNAPP Likes & Dislikes
1- A complete CSPM 2- Covers all the major Operating systems / cloud providers 3-Compliance and Audit reporting. 4- Automated Threat Detection and Response.
The collection of potential capabilities and the division of the UI into Risks and Threats. The ability to use the REST for some of the features for automation.
The ML-based anomaly search approach convinced me a lot.
A lot has changed since, as the product moved under the Fortinet flagship. One of the impacts of the change is that most of the earlier contacts have either moved or shifted to other projects and that has impacted the customer relationship as there is a reset.
No SCIM. No SOAR. No Coverage in China. Documentation could be improved. Requested features are developed slowly, it takes more than 1 year.
Some compliance alerts are raised by lacework regarding default settings in azure hosted service, where the setting always reverts to the default. In this case lacework offers to write exceptions for this issue. Otherwise I don't have any issues with the product.

Five-Star Support Praised, Yet Shift in Contacts Impacts Relationship Quality
5-star service in all aspects, including product offerings, onboarding, after-sales support, and training. Regular tech / ask questions sessions are very helpful, but only available in NA time zone, so we hope they start / resume these in EU time zone for EU customers. - MANAGER CLOUD SECURITY1B-10B USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
Inefficiencies in Lacework Emerge with Expectations Falling Short
Here are some points why not five stars. Lacework has several features on paper, but some do not reflect real processes at the customer, such as Code Security. No SCIM, which one would actually expect from a security tool. Requested features are developed slowly. No coverage in China. Documentation is incomplete. No SOAR, which must be purchased separately after acquisition. No DSPM. - Lead Developer<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
How Lacework Software Adapts for Futuristic Security Solutions
Due to the ease-of-use, clear description of why alerts are raised and the support, I can fully recommend lacework. Since the software learns about our deployment day by day, I feel future proof in security and compliance areas. - IT Security & Risk Management Associate<50M USDHardwareReview Source
Low noise security insights
It's a good tool to keep the overall security noise down while still getting insight into the actual security issues. Responsive support and useful AI copilot. - IT Security & Risk Management Associate50M-1B USDSoftwareReview Source
