Performance of Cortex Cloud Across Market Features
Cortex Cloud Likes & Dislikes
Detailed cloud asset inventory for better visibility. Automated remediation for misconfigurations, reducing manual effort. RQL-based hunting capabilities that are easy to learn and apply. Commendable support team with good technical knowledge and there response in a timely manner.
- Once deployed working almost without our integration
This product's claim to fame is it's ability to level actionable insight from each platform to help drive incident response, while leveraging the heuristic capabilities to help build automation for the alerts. We appreciate how simple it was to integrate with the other solutions.
The alert management process could be more efficient, particularly in terms of evidence details and timely notifications. Tracking and correlating alerts or incidents through the ticketing system can be an issue and would benefit from better integration.
Support is unhelpful, resolution takes too long, issues reoccur after weeks, and despite linking to previous cases, we have to repeat the same explanations and answer identical questions.
It did not launch with what we believe to be one of the main features, which was the cortex gateway. This would have unlocked more functionality and been able to replace other solutions we currently have but it is in the coming road map. Additionally, we would have liked if the existing XDR agent could have been leveraged and it did not require a redeployment of the cortex cloud agent.

Deployment of Prisma Cloud Requires Time and Planning for Custom Environments
Palo Alto was one of the first major CSPM/CNAPP solutions to fully cover multi-cloud security. It originally was a combination of multiple acquisitions (RedLock, Twistlock, Aporeto, and Puresec) under one product Prisma Cloud. We utilize Prisma Cloud heavily to protect our cloud environments and some of their App Sec functionality as well. Overall, it has been an instrumental tool in building our our cloud security program. - SENIOR EXECUTIVE - PRESALES<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
