In our architecture, a CDN is an essential service for delivering and serving static content faster to customers across the globe with minimal latency. Google Cloud's CDN does this job perfectly by leveraging their edge servers across multiple regions. It has a good variety of custom origin configurations, such as GCS buckets and load balancers, it also supports backends external to GCP which is very helpful for hybrid cloud architecture.
