My overall experience with Rapid7 InsightVM has been positive. The tool offers visibility into vulnerabilities across the environment and presents risks in a clear, actionable way. The dashboards are easy to customise using queries and are informative, and the reporting is flexible enough for both technical and management teams. Overall, InsightVM has proven to be a robust and effective vulnerability solution.

Tenable Nessus remains one of the most reliable vulnerability scanners we´ve used. Vulnerability detection coverage is broad and accurate, with frequent plugin updates that keep pace with emerging threats. Asset integration works well across on-prem and hybrid environments. Compliance reporting covers major frameworks out of the box. Some tuning is needed to reduce noise, but overall it delivers solid risk assessment capabilities for the price.

Qualys is a Powerful vulnerability tool to monitoring any kind of web application and it provides the detailed report bases on PCI severity. I like the explanation against each vulnerability and how to address it.

Tenable Vulnerability Management we only use for agent scans. The setup and administration took a lot of deep understanding of how the product works from deployment and is not very intuitive. When everything works, its great at scanning for vulnerabilities. But when something does not work, it becomes a trial and error scenario. It is like a Russian Doll nightmare to understand the order of how every piece must be setup and functioning. This means that one person will be the subject matter expert and labels can mean absolutely nothing helpful. Another issue is that agent licenses are consumed from the same system grabbing a new IP address via DHCP. This creates a lot of bloated fragmented data, and purging data repositories is practically impossible. From a user and training perspective, many of our users resist using the product to learn about vulnerabilities because they just want the reported data on vulnerabilities to fix. The learning curve and setup takes too much time for them. We also struggle to maintain an accurate asset inventory with real ownership details. When an unmanaged agent is enrolled, there is little information for us to track down who enrolled it.

Our company's vulnerability management program has improved significantly since we implemented Tenable SC. It gives us a lot of information that is relatively easy to organize and filter into dashboards for our separate IT teams.

My experience with the platform has been very good so far.It helped me get better visibility into vulnerabilities across the environment and prioritize what needs attention first.The setup process was smooth and once everything was configured,running scans and reviewing reports became easy to manage. I especially find the dashboards useful for quickly understanding the risk.In a few cases the interface could be bit more intuitive,and sometimes scan results need manual validation but overall it has been a reliable tool for vulnerability management
