What I like most is how flexible the platform is when it comes to connecting different systems. We used it to build and manage several data flows between applications that previously depended on external systems. It also gives good visibility into integrations, which helped us better understand and control our data flows after the separation. Another positive aspect is that it supports both API-based and more traditional integration patterns, which was important for us because not all systems were modernized at the same pace.
It was the complete and most advanced offer for SOA based integratien solution.
Robustness of webMethods products, good support service
At the beginning, it took some time to fully understand the platform and how to best structure integrations. Especially during the early phase, when we were still building up our internal knowledge, some configurations required trial and error. Also, the licensing model was a bit confusing at first, but the Support and our Customer Success Manager were there to help us.
Obstacles in our Azure Migration despite the hybrid rhetorics
Product patches and fixes, as well as version upgrades, are still very time-consuming and involve a lot of effort and regression testing
