Multistep process: The ability to implement multistep processes between applications, services and data sources (for example, to “onboard employee” or “process insurance claim”). Composite service: The ability to create composite services exposed as APIs or events and composed from existing applications, services and data sources (for example, to create a “credit check” service or to create a “generate fraud score” service). These integration processes, data pipelines, workflows, automations and composite services are most commonly created via intuitive low-code or no-code developer environments, though some vendors provide more-complex developer tooling.

The tool is easy to pick up and the pricing model supports multiple use cases and connecting myriad applications to support a business process, so bringing incremental teams and their applications on is cost effective.

I use the product for integration, both internal and B2B. I replaced an EDI system and vendor that was under performing, and replaced an integration vendor that was under performing. I find the product very easy to use and quite intuitive. Support is very responsive and willing to jump on a call to see exactly what I am doing and the errors I am getting.

Version management is not up to industry standards and is lacking features. Tagging and Relase processes are very basic. The transport mechanism allows consitent Transports between the systems. Development itself and data mapping and transformation is top. With over 3 years of productive integrations with CPI we can say that we have had a very positve experience when it comes to stability and performance within CPI. When taking heavy coding in Groovy the debugging capabilties are up to standards. Although you should use a full IDE for that.
