First of all the support, since the POC they have been great on providing guidance and technical support. On the other hand, the user interface is very user-friendly and yet very powerful. We also like the automated scans and the reporting parts. The alerts also make it easy to be informed of new vulnerabilities.

They have great integrations into Slack, Drata and other services so we can stay on top of things effortlessly.

Some of the widgets/reports can be too high-level, they are good for top management but not very useful to other technical teams we work for the patching process. The integrations can also be improved, being limited on supporting other security tools we have.
Read Full ReviewThe platform could benefit from additional types of reporting and currently offers a single format. Other competitors offer several types of reports based on the target audience. It also lacks technical POC information that could aid developers and in-depth analysis of potential vulnerabilities. Lastly, some information regarding its licensing model is not quite clear. Other competitors normally outline their licensing model based on the number of targets, while Intruder uses a different baseline which could cause confusion.
Read Full ReviewI am occasionally logged out of the platform and have to log in again even when I've used it fairly regularly, but this is only a minor inconvenience. It would be nice to see an AI summary of the checks that have been added since our last scan so we know what we're covered for now at a glance. It would be nice to be able to generate an overall summary of our security posture for customers or prospects that summarises several months worth of scan reports.

Flexible and easy scanning solution
Overall our experience with Intruder so far has been great. I had a video call with rep from the Intruder team who was great at understanding our needs/context, and then showing me how the platform could meet our needs. We followed that with a 14 day trial to road test it, followed by a paid plan. We are now implementing Intruder across a range of projects, and a couple of clients have already commented on how much happier they are knowing this sort of solution is running as part of our package for them.
