Complex: Can feel overwhelming for new users, especially without prior accounting experience. Cost: pricing is very high compared to competitors. Support: Response time is a little slow and the reps are not very knowledgeable.
I have nothing but issues with the software and getting everyone connected to our files. IT is always needing to be involved with QuickBooks and I have never had a more difficult software than I have had with QuickBooks and keeping it going, especially when you want to have more than one person in a file at one time.
Customer support can be inconsistent at times, with longer than expected resolution timelines. While issues do eventually get resolved, delays of several days can be stressful, especially when dealing with time-sensitive accounting or compliance matters.

QuickBooks is very popular, but has some serious software issues that make it glitchy and support isn't helpful. If you outright buy their software, and need to contact support, they are expensive and never give a permanent fix. With their cloud option now available, the recommendation is to move to their subscription based QuickBooks which is even more expensive. It's great for bookkeeping and very popular, but the difficulties with the cost and software issues make it a hard sell.
