Intuit QuickBooks Likes & Dislikes
I love that it is online and can be accessed from whatever location you choose making it ideal for remote work.
It is a cost effective alternative with good overall performance. User friendly for this kind of software.
1. Easy to learn and use for both accountants and non-accountants 2. Has all financial statements easily accessible and compiled automatically 3. Ability to memorize and automate repetitive Journal Entry transactions 4. Easily set a reversal date for Journal Entry transactions
Again, my biggest complaint is the lack of ability to run one report pulling in data across the database.
Support is limited and some bugs appear on occasion.
1. Lack of integrations in the desktop version that is available on their QBO version 2. Lack of Interco automation entries in the desktop version 3. Lack of enterprise reporting when you have multiple subsidiaries tied to the parent company 4. Not scalable for companies in the long term as a permanent accounting solution 5. Online support is lacking and is not very helpful

Quickbooks for small nonprofit ... would recommend.
Generally speaking, this software is sufficient for most everything we need to accomplish as a nonprofit with a $XX budget. The downside is that reporting is not as customizable as we would like in that you cannot compare actuals to prior period and to budget all in one report. - FINANCE ASSOCIATE<50M USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
QuickBooks Desktop
Easy to learn accounting system. Simple user interface to navigate but the desktop version lacks integration features that the online version has. - Compliance Manager50M-1B USDMiscellaneousReview Source
Solid product but they try to fix what ain't broke
I think their insistence on AI and automation doesn't work great for our industry, and their recent website design changes aren't what we want, but otherwise QBO is pretty good. - LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE50M-1B USDEnergy and UtilitiesReview Source
Smart Financial Management
We like the ability to access our account from anywhere, whether it is through a desktop, laptop or phone for review and approvals. - CLAIMS ADJUSTER50M-1B USDInsurance (except health)Review Source
Extensive Integrations and Automation Offset Slow Customer Support Response Times
Has a steep learning curve but once you get past that it's great. I love the user interface.
