My Favorite feature of using KNIME is its drag-and-drop feature and its user-friendly interface which simplifies workflow creation without coding. It has excellent features in automating repetitive processes and can handle both simple and complex data analysis from ETL to machine learning model development. Platform flexibility makes it perfect for diverse analytics projects and predictive machine learning models that enhance efficiency and task completion.
Its cost is much better than other solutions, it has great flexibility, and can perform machine learning tasks. The visual workflow design is quite good too, and the ability it has to share your projects with others is a great feature i understand not all solutions like this one have
This tool supports a low-code/no-code API that allows users to create workflows by dragging and dropping for data transformation and analysis. This tool also supports different machine learning and data mining techniques. KNIME has a strong, active user community with extensive documentation available. There are also tutorials and community hubs with a repository of data science solutions available which helps the user community. This tool can connect to multiple data sources and supports various data types and file formats.
KNIME has a tendency to slow down performance when it comes to working with large datasets. The visualization it offers is less advanced when compared to the tools available in the market. Also, the cloud integration is minimal and often requires manual setup. It is less effective for running large data and cloud-based projects.
The user interface feels a little bit old, it does not perform great with big datasts and integration with tools like python can be tricky for non develoeprs
