The Docker containerization architecture is a game-changer. Deploying patches and new features is now seamless, and being able to simply bring containers down and up for maintenance has eliminated hours of administrative overhead. The 4x performance improvement means our data discovery and masking operations complete in a quarter of the time compared to previous versions. The modernized APIs have enabled us to build reliable automation that integrates directly into our DBAs' existing workflows. We're implementing the remaining features (monitoring and dynamic masking) over the next several months, but the foundation the vendor has built with R24 is exceptional.

With R24 being in production for only a month, we're still discovering all the new capabilities. The transition from the previous architecture required some re-learning of administrative processes, though the improved efficiency makes this investment worthwhile. It's too early to identify any significant gaps, but I'd appreciate more detailed migration documentation for organizations upgrading from earlier versions. For now, the STELLAR Customer Success Team has been amazing where conversion tools don't exist.
