Enhancing Network Management with Juniper's Mist Software
Our initial contact with Juniper's sales team was to replace some of the switches. However, after they discussed some of their newer offerings, we had a demo of their Mist environment and saw how it would be a great benefit to our organization in management as well as security. We worked closely with their sales team but also Sr Engineers who helped design a new topography to leverage the Mist software. After we saw on paper what they were offering, they shipped us demo units to place in our environment for us to have a real world test bed with the Mist software in conjunction with their hardware. As we tested the Mist software capability, we were able to work with Junipers Engineers to make sure it was setup with best practices as well as make changes to better leverage the abilities of Mist. During testing we were able to identify interference points that we had been attempting to identify on our own previously.
