I very much enjoyed the security, cloud based infrastructure, and ease of client to external collaborator portals that can be setup securely.
We use Microsoft products, I really like how strongly integrated NetDocuments is with Microsoft. I am also a big fan of their customer support and the level of security. Their team is with you every step of the way.

The pricing wasn't always as transparent and with a large MAC userbase it was a bit more limited. Search functionality also needs a bit of a tune up.
The cost can be scary at times. The initial setup can be overwhelming, but they are there to help you. Folder structuring and file upload speed can take some time at moments, but not unbearable.
the user interface feels a bit dated compared with to newer DMS tools, and onboarding can be challenging without proper training.
