Dealing with NSP's Outdated Aesthetics and Alarm Management
We use NSP to monitor our live network as well as make a visual mapping. The tools is very useful as it allows you to customise your experience in many areas, from alarm views, to service mappings as well as linking issues. Although the system has it's use. The system has an outdated feel to it. If backlogs of alarms are not correctly managed the tool can feel over-cluttered. However, other than having an outdated feel, the system is only as good as the support behind it from an organisation. The availibility of hisoric alarm viewer is very useful
