My experience with Oracle enterprise manager was positive. It offers robust centralized monitoring capabilities of databases and middleware along with the server, which helps the user to have good oversight of the system performance and helps to identify issues.

We evaluated Oracle Enterprise Manager in my organization to manage our entire Oracle assets and to improve DBA on-going day to day tasks including maintenance, manage users, schema tables, roles and faults troubleshooting. We had both on premise and cloud deployments and we needed single console to manage and ease with the migration. The manager do provides an holistic view of our entire Oracle deployments. The system was to complicated and we decided not to proceed with it
