I like how simple and guided the editing process is. A lot of one click features like back ground removal but then there are also some really detailed and clear guides to edit more complicated tasks.
Fairly low price for an Adobe branded image editor.
I like how responsive it is on most of the hardware in our organization. There is less need for large and robust computers when working with it. Having an option for less technically inclined people while still giving the benefit of a piece of modern image editing software
Obviously the main drawback will be the lack of depth when compared to Photoshop but for an on the go, user friendly and very quick option it is almost perfect.
If you're used to Photoshop you will find yourself fighting the interface to get to the tools you're used to, because they are often trapped under a restrictive layer meant to keep things simple for novices.
Finding the balance of when the application no longer suits a users needs to upgrade to Photoshop proper. There is also a push to go into the cloud and use the online version of Photoshop and not Elements. That comes with its own drawbacks though.
