The UI is very intuitive and also the collaboration features like creation of workspaces, adding team and members, collections. It also provides a centralized place for having API design, testing and also the documentation which is a big plus I would say. It also supports different authentication types for APIs which is another best I can say (provides versatility). It is also great for quickly testing REST APIs without any large and complex setup, and we can copy the language specific request code from it so that it makes the task easy without separately writing the code. It also has many protocols to use.
Very user-friendly and intuitive UI, making it easy for both beginners and experienced users Strong API management capabilities, including collections, environments, and testing workflows Robust environment configuration and variable management
What I like most about Postman API Platform is that it has the ability to save requests in a collection which helps in organizing and reusing API's efficiently. Realtime response preview with status codes and JSON formatting makes debugging easier and also the user interface is very interactive and easy to use and makes it easy to create and test API requests without much setup.
As said as the collections increase it becomes somewhat slow and heavy to load and debugging becomes somewhat complex and also we have the feasibility to add the scripts but that would be complex if forgot the syntax. Some capabilities will be given only to higher tier plans, like some advanced testing features. Version control is also not as good as what other platforms provide.
Limited AI-driven features for debugging and optimization and Lack of intelligent suggestions for API improvements. No advanced features like API healing, automated error explanations, or smart test suite recommendations
One drawback of this platform is that some of the advanced features can be a little bit confusing for beginners at first. The interface sometimes feels heavy when working with multiple requests and collections. Collaborations featiures are more useful for teams, but for individual users thery are limited in the free versions.
