Updated 25th April 2023
What is Prevalent Third-Party Risk Management Platform?
The Prevalent Third-Party Risk Management Platform is a SaaS solution that automates workflows required to onboard, assess, manage, continuously monitor and remediate third-party vendor and supplier security, privacy, compliance, procurement and supply chain-related risks across every stage of the vendor lifecycle.

The ability to create your own questionnaires is great. Report generation is instant. Customization of email alerts and responses is great.
None.
Pretty straightforward to use and gets you a nice work product.
Vendor users are not able to see other users from their organization. This causes problems when they try to invite other users. Vendor users are not able to remove users from their profile. This causes the business headache as they then have to manage all users. When tasks are opened, there is no place to add files nor clear indication where files should be uploaded.
Lacks external integration with apps like Slack Poor UI/UX Customisation is very minimal
Unfortunately, it still requires your vendors to do some lifting which is where things always fall down in the process. So many folks try to get by with standardized DDQs.
The product is very clunky with a dated UI/UX. Several basic functionalities and customisations are unavailable.

My experience with Prevalent has been very positive. The company has been very hands-on with us, from our onboarding to the biweekly/monthly cadence calls, to our support questions and beyond. It feels like the company is focused on growing their services with their clients, which is a huge plus. As expected, there are hiccups in the system every now and then, but the support staff is always willing to assist and help diagnose the issues.

Easy straightforward and flexible - but support could be better when things go wrong.

Prevalent manages to cover all the critical requirements of our organisation exceptionally well - from our tender process they exceed all of the competition in this area. The system is not too bogged down with fluffy extras, and the interface is clean and simple.
The provision of a well documented API really enhances the overall value we get from the product.
On-system reporting functionality could be enhanced - the included reporting functions are quite rigid and do not allow you add / remove fields from exports.
As a SAAS solution, I would expect better cross-device functionality. It is impossible to use the system on a phone for example, as the pages do not scale to that size.
The service desk experience has not been the best - slow response times, lack of updates and prioritisation of tickets has been our experience. Prevalent do seem to have improved with this recently, but it has historically been a pain point.
In short - when the system works, it's generally excellent - but it must become easier for us to manage when things do go wrong.
