Visibility it provides into intra- and inter-team product roadmaps; the ability to serve as a source of truth for all feature requests. Makes it easier to triage requests and inform the roadmap; the integration with Slack is also great as it allows you to easily transfer product feedback that was captured in Slack convos and push it directly into Productboard.
What I like most is probably the design and how versatile the product is. You can customise it a lot to fit the needs of your workflow as well as easily share it with other departments within the company. Since you can have different user roles, it also becomes more safe to let some people only have a quite restricted role which prevents unhappy accidents.
I like the visual aspect of it and how efficient the timelines can be used as motivator instead of deadlines.
Search functionality has been difficult for me at times. It takes a long time to find the insight/board I'm looking for unless I know exactly where it is. I think additional breadth of connectors could also make the product more robust.
What I dislike most is probably how hard it is to get started and become comfortable with using the tool. Within the Product team who are the administrators for our Productboard, we feel quite confident. However, in terms of letting others leave their insights or comments inside the service has proven to be very time-consuming and confusing for many.
I feel the confidence when editing a shared view was higher. It always feel you will mess up someones else work.
