Performance of Aha! Across Market Features

The depth of product management features in a mature ecosystem is what makes Aha stand out. From capturing knowledge to building out an integrated roadmap, Aha provides a one-stop shop to keep all the various teams on the same page. That central hub to keep all teams focused on important opportunities and challenges has been extremely valuable.
The ability to link through jira tickets and epics is great. The depth of features is also great as it allows you to create lots of different displays easily when set up correctly. My favourite thing is probably though how easy it is to build a roadmap view and update seamlessly in real time with different teams whilst on a weekly programme call.
The platform is very configurable - right the way down to the navigation level - allowing us to customise how the product looks and the language used to best suit our requirements. Even better, the changes cascade through the platform so you don't have to perform the same changes in different modules, saving time and avoiding any confusion over terminology applied. There are a lot of online help articles available as well as video tutorials going through user processes and providing guidance on setup and configuration within the system. This helped me to work independently to get the initial setup in place before regrouping with the account manager to finalise the build.
There are several areas of improvement I can see. Their whiteboard feature isn't as mature as some of the purpose-built tools available. It would be nice if they supported a diagraming as code language as well. Often when new features are released the user experience is a bit like an MVP, things don't quite work like they should. Issues are quickly fixed, but if I want to stay productive, I've learned to steer clear of newly released features. One of its strengths is the breadth of available modules and features, but there are many premium upgrades that require an additional subscription. To get the full experience, it can feel like getting nickle and dimed.
The UI is horrendous and I think this is largely due to how customisable it is. This is a real double edged sword as it means it's super flexible to your needs but also means there are endless dropdowns and boxes to fill in which makes it easy to get lost.
Whilst slow, the built-in AI assistant does give clear stepwise solutions, it would be nice to have images to exemplify the steps. I was surprised to learn that some integrations require a third party application but this was not a deal breaker for us, but that is why I marked it down on integration and capabilities scores.

Comprehensive Features Come With Additional Subscription Costs and Early Feature Issues
Using Aha has been a game changer for our product team. It brought together many of the elements of product management that were scattered across various other tools. We were able to centralize the product idea pipeline, whiteboarding, wireframing and product research. - IT Business Relationship Executive50M-1B USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
A simple looking platform with a surprising depth of features.
Our account manager was very responsive and demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the product. They quickly organised meetings to understand our requirements and what we were trying to achieve with the platform. They took the time to understand the context of the business and asked insightful questions to fill in the extra detail needed to refine their advice. Where possible they used live demonstrations and walk-throughs of scenarios to exemplify the features available and define the most relevant configuration for our needs. - Director Of Products<50M USDSoftwareReview Source
One of the Best Available, but Spend Time Learning & Experimenting with it
I was a brand new product manager when I first used Aha!. Perhaps I'm still a little biased because it was my "first love" with idea tracking platforms, but I haven't used anything as good in the past decade since. - PRODUCT MANAGER10B+ USDRetailReview Source
Aha's Roadmap Visualization: A Valuable But Complex Tool
Aha is a real interesting one. On one hand when used correctly, it can provide great roadmap visualisation that can be used to coordinate teams and highlight strategic views. But on the other hand, the UI is PAINFUL and the upskilling process to get comfortable using it is not easy. So at a high-level, I'd say it's got the potential to be great but unless everyone in your org is trained, it is a bit point of friction. - SOFTWARE DEVELOPER1B-10B USDInsurance (except health)Review Source
