Three specific features I like most about Red Hat OpenShift are the isolation of projects via RBAC, new features that are added on a continuous basis, and ease of deployment when compared to other similar products/services.
Build, deploy and scale applications fast within AWS
Easy to use, licensing with the vendor is eliminated with AWS managing it like any other SAAS based solution. Skills acquired on OpenShift in a on prem environment can easily be used on cloud due to the close similarities. Easily configurable and scalable based on demand.
Three specific weaknesses I dislike most about the product/service are the capabilities it lacks in general when compared to other similar products/services (although this has been improving consistently), lack of auto-healing, and lack of smart searching through the menu items.
Complexity of the platform, limited support for some programming languages
Porting of licenses which have been taken directly with the service provider isnt very easy to be migrated to the SAAS version managed by AWS. This required multiple conversations to be bridged across Redhat and AWS.
