It has a fantastic API system that allows for larger information pulls, but lacks the front end report generation past 2000 entries. This is a great platform for large to small organizations that showcases it's ability to support the lead and sales experience.

Salesforce Lightning Platform Likes & Dislikes

Like

The speed and reliability. I have to work pretty fast and I can rely on it for that.

Like

Flexibility to deploy and install custom solutions. Standardized UI and consistent through the years.

I like that the service has many features, lots of customization, and has integrale support systems allowing for better reporting, sales calling, and function. The mobile application is also very good and has everything that I would expect it to have.

Dislike

It's a small point but only being able to create one row based formula is actually quite problematic when you are trying to do more complex reports which let's face it, is normally the requirement in true business use cases.

Dislike

Governance of field creation and use should be more intuitive. We ended up creating too many custom objects and fields without clear use. Even though there's a view to see which fields are not being used, it's unclear whether it's due to incorrect implementation or due to incorrect use of the objects. Error messages could be clearer for end-users.

Dislike

The lack of report functionality built into the app, the lack of click and drag options, and better inputting options / customization for front end sales use.
