Read Full ReviewThe promise to be a one-stop-shop for integrations, which proves to be true. - SAP-SAP integrations are effortless - visual integration designer - connection of Cloud ALM was effortless - SAP-third party integrations are tricky to setup but when done correctly, it just works - third party-third party integrations are not easy to implement
Read Full ReviewAll of SAP's much-needed integration services are combined into a powerful package which includes CPI for handling process integration, orchestration, API management and Event Infrastructure services are truly commendable. In recent years, 500 Interfaces have been successfully deployed on our SAP IS service leveraging CPI/CI, APIM and EMIS/AEM services providing seamless integration between our SAP S/4 HANA and other non-SAP, 3PL applications. These BTP services ensured real time data connectivity and operations with high availability setup, increasing our operational efficiency and agility, consolidation of middleware applications and ease of doing business throughout our SAP eco system. The constant audit support provided by SAP product team and their expert guidance, especially on integration services, has helped us in reaching our project major milestones on time and with high quality.
Read Full ReviewLack of native connectors towards not-SAP products. Cloud connectors are not built to handle more serious performance demands. Not able to see the infrastructure metrics to be able to plan accordingly. This is something that is currently completely in hands of SAP. A user must regularly request the insight into resource usage and also request scaling of the platform. There are some limitations when it comes to scaling as well. This is something you don't hear about before you are locked in. Pricing model. While the world generates more and more data that we must run throughout our systems, the platform will become painfully expensive as it counts number of processed documents which is very different from how hyperscalers price their service consumption. This works for SOA based solutions where the majority of interfaces are low volume point-to-point, not for real-time high volume scenarios or ETL demands with a lot of data.
Read Full Review- lack of precise running cost estimations - cloud connector setup requires special competencies which are not easily obtainable - lack of code versioning repository (at least in it's traditional GitHub sense)
Read Full ReviewExcept for minor issues, overall SAP Integration suite product and services is a great tool especially for green field, brown field and SAP PI PO migration projects.

Stable XML based platform that works best together with other SAP products.
Good and stable integration platform. We have experience with SAP Core systems, SAP Cloud systems and BTP Cloud services. The tool is performing well, silent background updates are working fine without downtime and platform updates are in 99% of cases properly tested before release. - Team Leader Integration Services & Platform Solutions1B-10B USDTravel and HospitalityReview Source
Operational Efficiency Enhanced Through SaaS Adoption, but Migration Costs Remain a Challenge
The vendor is innovative and forward-thinking, while still respecting the legacy of transactional ERP systems and core business requirements. New services and technologies are introduced not just for the sake of innovation, but with a clear focus on their business impact. However, the constant renaming of services and products can be somewhat frustrating. - Director of IT Services50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source

SAP BTP IS
Our experience with SAP BTP IS, is very positive. The platform has proven to be a strategic enabler for our integrations and the business processes they serve. Capabilities like out of the box flows, open connectors and included Event Mesh option has helped us evolve our way of thinking, design, strategy and vision. Some of the cons are slow loading screens (especially in DEV/QA environments), lack of API-M monitoring capabilities and high training costs.
