The ease of searching what I need and a centralized application with data shared accros multiple systems. In terms of governance it is also very good, with a freat flow of approvals, guaranteeing the data is reviewed.
External connections and a convoluted user experience are the main challenges. While SAP-to-SAP connections are seamless, for integrations with external systems the same cannot be said. This is something to be taken into account.
It requires a continuous monitoring and maintenance team.
Its kind of archaic, it doesn't have a very appealing look, for non technical users it is difficult to understand sometimes the needed steps and the quantity of fields.
