SAS Viya is comparatively quick in terms of deriving results out of the data even if its not in tye perfectly oriented format. Data manipulation frature is beneficial as the straming high volumes of the same reuire a tool that can be implemented on a real-time basis. Running various data science models has been crucially beneficial for our company and SAS Viya does that effortlessly by integrating with Data lakes and servers across domains.

Although it is an excellent platform but it requires deep technical expertise without which it can be overwhelming to new users

you need to learn specific syntax when coding that you can not use elsewhere

It is a single system tool meaning collaboration across multiple operators is restricted. SAS is not an open tool that is available for free like R or Spyder, hence to access its advantages one must invest heavily. Lacks user experience in terms of graphical matrices.

SAS Viya has been tremendously helpful within the workplace because of its ability to help make predictions and forecast trends of what the next outbreak of diseases or trends within healthcare facilities that we may see. When having to deal with so many different sources of data it can be difficult to manage parentheses but is easily done through the application of this software. It is great to be able to utilize one system and pull information from many different data sources, which not only increases our efficiency in producing visualizations tables, but also produces results for our deliverables. Overall, it has boosted efficiency in meeting timelines and emphasizes an importance in creating effective visualizations that other platforms are not as able to efficiently as this one.
